Helmast Park Facilities

Helmast Park is an Equestrian Centre, agistment and riding facility located in Park Orchards, 25 minutes from Melbourne's CBD. We offer total care for your horse, and a range of riding options.

Agistment

We offer paddock agistment, partial care and premium care agistment services on 10 hectares of professionally built paddocks of various sizes.
Paddocks have safe equine mesh fencing, with electric fence standoffs and automatic water troughs. Many paddocks have shelters available.

All clients have secure access to the full facilities, including an indoor and outdoor arena, tack room (with personal lockable tack locker), tie ups, round yard and tea room.

Indoor Arena

Helmast Park includes an 65 x 25m fibre indoor arena which is available for complimentary use by clients. Clients may book the arena in advance at no cost.
The surface is regularly harrowed, and the arena is flood lit. Visitor seating is provided with a view over the arena.

External clients may hire the arena by arrangement – contact us for more information.

Outdoor Arena

We offer a 75 x 35m floodlit sand arena. The arena provides a full course of jumps for riders of all levels.

The arena has a 13-jump course which can be adjusted to suit different skill levels and training requirements.

Agistment clients have complimentary use of the jumping arena.

Helmast Park also provides a range of other facilities, including:

• All weather riding track around the property perimeter, suitable for fitness work and trail rides

• Large undercover cross-ties with lights

• Wash bays with hot and cold wash

• Stables with automatic waterers and rubber matting

• Sand round yard

• Holding yards

• Client rest room with kitchenette

• Laundry facilities

• Visitor yards, wash-bay and stable
